You can find these items online or in sports direct, decathlon or most sports shops. Appropriate swimming kits are an essential part to attend the lesson. Swimming caps can be purchased on ParentPay then collected from the school office.
P.E. kits are an essential part of school life to teach the children about their health and hygiene as well as giving them the freedom to move with ease and succeed in P.E. It is important that all children feel equal and comfortable so no logos or branding is allowed on PE kit.Â
P.E. at Stebon will be outside throughout the year and children are expected to bring additional clothing for all weather, this includes lightweight waterproofs, a warm hat (that does not go around their neck) gloves and a spare pair of socks.
For their health and safety, please make sure that your child does not wear any jewellery, including stud earrings and watches on the day they have P.E. or swimming.

Swimming 2025-2026
Year 6 went to intensive swimming sessions at Poplar Baths in weeks beginning 8th & 15th December 2025.
Year 5 will go to intensive swimming sessions at Poplar Baths in weeks beginning 6th & 13th July 2026. More details will be shared with parentsÂ
